We provide an easy-to-use patient app and complete platform, paired with on-demand clinical monitoring and billing support. Close musculoskeletal care gaps and unlock new revenue streams, without burdening your staff.
The KangarooHealth remote therapeutic monitoring platform tracks a patient’s disease activity and flares, boosts patient compliance in home exercise programs, and improves outcome collection. Monitoring can be done by our remote monitoring staff or your staff.
KangarooHealth RTM analyzes a patient's health changes (in pain, mobility, range of motion and functional status), identifies early warning signs, and generates tiered alerts. Patients are escalated as needed to your staff for timely triage.
KangarooHealth’s RTM program is different from telehealth–it is not event-based and closes care gaps that occur between provider visits with consistent monitoring and reliable communication. Your patients feel supported, and you gain actionable health insights.
Providers and qualified healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), clinical psychologists and registered dieticians, are able to offer and bill RTM services. Go live in less than two weeks.
My patients appreciate the extra care that comes with remote therapeutic monitoring…It's been very easy to refer patients for services and my reimbursements continue to grow month after month.
After vetting most of the RTM solutions on the market, KangarooHealth is undoubtedly the most outstanding one we trust, for its full compliant, comprehensive, and configurable platform, senior-proof cellular devices, and licensed monitoring clinicians.

Either your care team, or our on-demand clinical monitors, use the platform to monitor and engage patients. We provide easy-to-use billing reports that streamline your monthly reimbursement claims. Full revenue cycle management service is also available.
No, Remote Therapeutic Monitoring RTM) is considered a separate service and could be complementary to any telehealth you provide. RTM can be billed separately and is not encounter based.
Per your care focus, KangarooHealth helps you qualify eligibility for your patients. General guidelines include:
• Most patients enrolled in RTM have a musculoskeletal condition, chronic pain or need post-surgery MSK monitoring.
• RTM program patients should have a prior management and / or evaluation relationship with their provider, either in person or via telehealth.
• Patients may not be currently enrolled in another RTM program.
• Many patients have $0 out of pocket expenses.
• Depending on insurance plans, some patients may have minimum financial responsibility such as co-pays.
• KangarooHealth will contact the patient with an estimate of their copay for approval prior to final enrollment in the program.
Patients can only be enrolled in one RTM program by a provider at any given time. During patient enrollment, KangarooHealth confirms with patients that they are not already enrolled in a RTM program.
Patients enrolled in RTM can also enroll in either a Chronic Care Management (CCM) or Principal Care Management (PCM) program through KangarooHealth, which could help improve outcomes for patients with comorbidities and are billed separately through different CPT codes.
